The purpose of Fresher’s Party is to welcome new students in a friendly atmosphere and to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence. It is the day where seniors and juniors finally bond and unite to celebrate being part of the college. Students of First Year (batch: 2021-22)- B. Des. students were welcomed with the red rose to this party which was organized by Student’s Council in the Multi-purpose hall at 10 am. About 130 students with all staff enjoyed the function. A Fresher’s Party with the theme “Pista colour” was organized on 6th October 2019, Wednesday.
The program started at 10 am as per the schedule planned. The program starts with the felicitation of the Hon. Chief Guest Principle. Mrs. Ar. Seema Malani. Senior students had done welcome of beloved 1st-year fresher’s. One of the 2nd year & 3rd year students read out the address of welcome and received the new students cordially. One of the new-comers expressed his feelings and gratitude — on behalf of the new students. Then the principal of the college delivered his welcome address. All the new-comers took their oath and later the actual function began.
After that, the cultural group of the college performed their songs, dances, jokes, duet song singing, etc. Too many entertaining performances given by all the batches of college then came the most awaited “Mr. and Ms. Fresher 2021-22”. Mr. Bhagesh Thombare and Ms. Pranjali Shete were chosen as Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher respectively. On behalf of our Principal Mam felicitated our Mr. Fresher, and Ms. Fresher also deliver a few words on the occasion.
At the end of the function, the Students’ thanked the chief guest, the principal, the teachers, and the students of the college for their cooperation in making the function a success. The function came to a close at 3.30 pm.
